Shower Room

The following rules and regulations are for the benefit and protection of all users of our facility

Health Regulations
1. The State of Illinois recommends that nude, soap showers be taken by everyone before entering the pool area.
2. Admission will be refused to anyone appearing to have contagious or infectious conditions, such as a cold, athletes foot, ring worm, boils, and other skin infections.
3. No Band-Aids may be worn.
4. Only toilet-trained, undiapered children will be permitted in the Middle Pool.
5.

Expectorating, blowing the nose, or urinating in the pool is forbidden.

6. Food, candy, and beverages are restricted to the upper deck level. All coolers and ice chests must be checked with the cashier upon entrance into the facility. Coolers and ice chests are not allowed on the pool deck.
7. No alcoholic beverages or other drugs are permitted on any part of the premises. Persons under the influence of these substances will not be admitted into the facility, and may be ejected at the discretion of the Manager.
8. Smoking is not permitted in the facility.
9. Street shoes are not permitted on the pool deck.
10. Proper swimwear is required. No cutoffs or gym shorts will be permitted.
11. Baby strollers are permitted on the pool deck if their wheels have been properly washed.
12. Refuse should be placed in proper containers.

 

   

Safety Regulations
 
1. Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by a responsible adult (18 years of age).
2. Running, pushing, dunking, tag, unauthorized games and horseplay are forbidden. Pushing, pulling, or throwing persons in or around the pool is strictly forbidden.
3. Only one person is allowed on the diving board. All dives are to be done in a forward direction, from the end of the board. Divers will then swim to the nearest ladder and not under the safety line.
4. The diving areas are not areas for general swimming.
5. Diving is  restricted to areas with a minimum water depth of six feet.
6. Swimmers must abide by slide rules posted. Children must be at least 43" tall to use the slides.  Swimmers may be denied use of the slide if deemed necessary for safety reasons.
7. Use of the Patch Pool is restricted to qualified swimmers and those at least 18 years of age.
8. Fifteen minutes of each hour will be designated as Adult Swim. Use of all pools is restricted to those at least 18 years of age. Infants (children under 2 who can not be left unattended) are permitted in an adult's arms only in the Training Pool. Those under 18 are to remain away from the edge of the pools.
9. Non-Swimmers should stay in the shallow water areas. 
10. No outside equipment, swimming aids or supports are permitted in the pools. Use of a Coast Guard Approved Personal Flotation Device is permitted. Patrons may bring small safe toys for children's use in the Training and Splash Pool. "Safe" will be determined by the lifeguards. 
11. Use of snorkel and fins and swim training equipment, e.g. kick boards and pull buoys, is restricted to qualified swimmers in the patch pool. 
12. A clean white cotton T-shirt may be worn into the water to help prevent severe sun burn.
13. No person will be permitted in the pool complex unless a staff member is on duty.
14. No conversations with the lifeguards will be permitted while they are actively engaged in their duties.
15. No breakable containers or metal objects that may be hazardous may be brought into the pool complex.
16. Sunbathing is not permitted close to the pool's edge. 
17. Members are responsible for the behavior of their guests. 
18. The number of guests permitted each session may be restricted to provide a quality experience to our members. 
19. The use of deck chairs is restricted to those available for rent. 
20. The use of radios and tape players is restricted to private listening, e.g. headphones.
21. "Aqua Socks" and similar footwear are not permitted on the diving boards or on any part of the slides. 
22. Pool will be closed when Manager deems necessary. 
23. Members must abide by the rules or membership will be revoked. 
24. Manager may prohibit other activities deemed unsafe.

 

 

Shower Room
 
1. Excessively long showers are not permitted. 
2. All belongings may be checked in the basket room.
3. The use of camera phones is prohibited in the Bathhouse.
