Evergreen Aqua Park Closing After 51 years.

We are sorry to inform you that Evergreen Aqua Park is in the process of ending its operations after 51 years.  A nearly 20% decline in membership, increasing expenses, and a very cool summer in 2009 have all led to the current financial state of the pool.

Many options have been explored but none were sufficiently viable to allow Evergreen Aqua to open for the 2010 season.  The most promising option was to secure a loan to ensure that the pool would operate for the entire 2010 season, however when Evergreen Aqua was appraised at $145,000 that no longer was a possibility.

We would like to thank all of the members, the Village of Evergreen Park , the local business community, and the Aqua staff for the 51 years of support.
